Scripture reading
In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eye of the blind will see.

Thought of the Day
There is an old joke about an old man who got a new hearing aid. He was telling a friend of all the features and how it was really a technological wonder. His friend asked, “What kind is it?” The old man looked at his watch and said, “3:30”.
I like this joke. I also like our scripture for today. When will that day be when the deaf can hear and the blind can see? Christ is the answer.
