Scripture reading

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
–Colossians 3:17

Thought of the Day

“Ha’ at’ ihida baandaakaigo, ei t’aa ‘al tso Diyin God bee haa ha’ niih doo biniye baandaahkal.”

Don’t you just love these words? I do. I really think that it sums up how we are supposed to live our lives as people of faith. In fact, I imagine that if every morning I woke up and repeated these words, I might praise and glorify Christ Jesus in new and wondrous ways that day. I think I will try it every morning for a week or so. How about you? Why don’t you do the same?

p.s. Oh, just in case your Navaho is a little rusty, let me translate for you. Those words say… “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” Sound familiar?

Prayer

Lord of All, Help me to serve you in all that I do. Amen.
