Thought of the Day
When I first read this statistic I did not believe it. But then something happened that made me rethink things. The statistic is this. 20% of gift cards are never redeemed for their full value. The reason I had to rethink this is that I was going through a stack of stuff that I had stacked a while back and to my surprise I found a couple of gift cards that I had not redeemed. Now I guess I knew I had them, but at the same time had forgotten that I had them. Does that make sense?
All of this made me think about our scripture for today. We are studying the Book of James in our high school Bible Study right now. I was getting ready for it by re-reading it and I was reminded how much I love these words from James. I guess I knew I knew them, but at the same time had forgotten that I knew them. Does that make sense?
My thought for you today is that you will receive full value of the good and perfect gift that comes from the Father of the heavenly lights. Redeem this gift in every way that you can. Receive fully this gift from God.

Lord, Thank You for the gifts You give us. Thank you for Your faithfulness. Amen.
