Thought of the Day
My high flying brother and his family just got back from a trip to Ireland and brought me back a cool cross. It is a replica of St. Patrick’s Cross from the 7th century. At the bottom of the cross are three pilgrims. In the middle is Christ surrounded by the four evangelists. (That would be our friends, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.) There is a sticker on the back of the cross explaining all of this. The following has been associated with this cross:
Christ be with me.
Christ be before me.
Christ be behind me.
Christ be within me.
That pretty much covers what we need to believe, I think. What if we made this our prayer every morning or night?
