Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of Life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty”.
Thought of the Day
Samuel Feldman is in big trouble. You see, Samuel has this thing about bread. It seems that he is a squeezer and a poker. Over a two year period, Mr. Feldman is accused of damaging 175 bags of bagels, 227 bags of potato dinner rolls, and 3,087 bags of sliced bread at the Giant Food marker in Yardley, Pennsylvania. The store has video tapes of this “spree of baked goods sabotage”. (Those are their words not mine). Feldman’s defense attorney argues that he is just a picky shopper who is in search of the freshest items available.
I don’t know how the trial ended up, but I do know that Mr. Feldman would be better off if he had as much of a thing about the bread of Life as he did about bagels or potato rolls. How about you? How is your search of Jesus, the bread of Life going?
Jesus, in You I will never hunger or thirst. Amen.
