Scripture reading
If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
–Galatians 3:29
Thought of the Day
Have you heard of Corrie Ten Boom? She wrote the powerful book, “The Hiding Place” which told about her and her family’s experiences in Holland during the Second World War. During that terrible time, the Ten Boom home became a refuge, a hiding place, for fugitives and those hunted by the Nazis. Many lives were saved by their brave work. Eventually the soldiers found out and the entire family was arrested and put in labor camps. Corrie was the only survivor from her family and knew that life was a gift from God and spent the rest of her life sharing His love to all she came in contact with. She was a most special woman who knew who she belonged to. Here are some of her most special words.
“Though you may ask God to do something for you, He generally wants to do something in you!”
“We always have time for the things we put first.”
“There is no right way to do the wrong thing and no wrong way to do the right thing.”
“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”
Corrie knew. She knew. Do you? Do you know who you belong to?
Prayer
Father in Heaven, I am Yours. Amen.
